Police records are available, to any person who applies through the United States Consular office handling the case, from the year l875, and are issued by writing to either the Director, Criminal Investigation Department or the Officer-in-Charge, Criminal Records Department, P.O. Box 239, Police Headquarters, Suva, Fiji. In the application the applicant must authorize the Fiji police to inform the United States Consulate at (PLACE) in writing of the complete details of any police record. The applicant must also submit a set of fingerprints taken on Form FD-258. Descriptive information should follow in this order:

There may be a fee for this service. Requests for Fiji police clearances sent to Embassy Suva should be accompanied by a bank draft for the appropriate fee made payable to the Fiji Police Department in Fiji dollars. Requesters who apply to the Fiji police may also pay in c ash. |
