Available. A police certificate criminal record abstract (utdrag ur rikspolisregistret) is a record taken from the central police register and is issued to all persons upon application. Application forms (including forms in English) for a Swedish national crime record extract (Form RPS 447.3) can be downloaded from the Swedish Police webpage www.polisen.se, or obtained from the local police station. Complete instructions, regarding payment, charge for return postage, can be found on the form. The police certificate will not list any criminal offense which occurred more than ten years prior to the certificate request.
