DESCRIPTION OF Employment Verification SERVICES

Our Verification Specialists will contact the employer directly to verify dates of employment and job title/position information. Additional information such as rehire eligibility will be reported when it is provided by the employer.

What information is needed?

• Full legal name at the time of employment
• Date of Birth
• Employer name
• Job title/position
• City/Country of employer
• Employer Phone number
• Contact name and phone number
• Mother’s maiden name for Latin-American countries
• Signed Authorization form from subject.

TURNAROUND TIME

Turnaround times can vary widely depending on which country the employer resides in. CRS Checks' Verification Specialists are committed to doing everything reasonably possible to complete employment verification requests as quickly as possible. In some instances, there are factors out of our control that may cause delays in completing requests. Here are some of the factors that may affect turnaround time:

• International time difference: CRS Checks will begin processing international verifications as soon as the country is open for business.
• International Holidays: Verifications may be delayed due to an employer being closed for a holiday. We will contact the company as soon as the holiday is over and the employer reopens.
• Infrastructure challenges: Infrastructure in some regions is poor to non-existent for record keeping, telephone/fax services and internet access. These challenges may cause delays out of our control.
• Post mail delays: Some employers require verification requests to be sent by post mail instead of by fax, phone or email, which will cause delays.
• Political and/or economic instability: Some areas of the world may have political or economic instability, which may lead to delays out of our control.
